Farmers’ Market – relief stewards

As a result of our amazing team of dedicated volunteer stewards, we were able to re-start Wallington Farmers’ Market just two months after lockdown. The market supports British local and regional farmers and producers to sell their quality food directly to local residents. Could you help for between one and four hours occasionally on a Saturday as a steward to ensure shoppers know where to queue for each stall so that the market keeps covid-safe. The market is held on the second Saturday of each month. Click here to offer help

Plant sales persons

We raise much needed funds for our community allotment project by selling plants. We would like to re-start our plant stall at the Wallington Farmers’ Market and we need volunteers to run the stall. Ideally you would know about garden plants so that you could advise buyers, but you don’t need to be a world expert, as the basic information is on the plant labels that we make. We will have a contactless card machine as well as a donation bucket to avoid handling cash. Click here to offer help
