🥕 Wallington Farmers’ Market – this Saturday! 🥧
📅 Saturday 10 January | 9am–1pm
📍 Old Town Hall & Library Gardens, Woodcote Road, Wallington

Start the year with fresh, seasonal food and support local producers at Wallington Farmers’ Market. Pick up winter veg like Jerusalem artichokes and mushrooms, fresh fish, local honey, free-range eggs, sugar-free nutty treats, and comforting favourites including pies and apple crumbles.

Many of our stallholders are farmers working right through the winter — pruning orchards, milking goats on frosty mornings, fishing in all weathers and harvesting from windswept fields. Shopping here means directly supporting British farmers and small producers.

You’ll also find winter-flowering plants, local arts and crafts, plus soy candles and wax melts to bring a calm, cosy feel to your home.

“I can't use a two wheel bike due to balance + co-ordination issues - so these sessions allow me to cycle in the outdoors, which I've never had access to before!”

FUN, FRIENDSHIP and FITNESS
Carshalton-based Madder Mill Molly offers all three benefits when you join their mixed-gender team of Morris dancers and musicians. No special kit is needed for practice, but the team has its own distinctive dress style. Formed as recently as 2020, their reputation has grown quickly and they now perform at local pubs, folk festivals and other events throughout the South-East and further afield.
New members are always welcome and practice evenings are free to attend - there’s no obligation to take part on your first visit but when you’re ready to try they’ll show you the ropes.
They meet at EcoLocal, The Garden Hall, close to Honeywood Museum, Carshalton, each Wednesday from 7-9pm, so come along and meet them, have fun and make new friends.
