Children’s Activities

The fair has lots for children to do from craft to a cycle obstacle course in the tennis courts and fun activities throughout the event.

Family and children’s activities in 2019 included:

  • Beanstalk Barney’s Emporium of Fun (Tin Can Alley, Allotment Treasure Hunt, Find the Potato and Fruit Wheel of Fortune) at the Carshalton Community Stall
  • Circus skills (juggling balls, poi, devil sticks and diablo) and Face Painting
  • Beach clearing plastic challenge with Artio
  • Obstacle course with Sutton Night Watch
  • Children’s and pets lucky dip with Wallington Animal Rescue
  • Tombola and lucky dip with Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
  • Face Painting with Katie’s Festival Faces
  • Ball in bucket game, tombola and lucky dip with the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
  • Lucky dip with A Whole Load of Wonderful, Sutton Amnesty International and Wallington Animal Rescue
  • Tombolas with Carshalton Beeches Community Wellbeing Group, Diabetes UK, Sutton Women’s Centre and International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals
  • On-stall activities with Carshalton Methodist Church
  • Pedal Power Cycling Challenge with EcoLocal
  • Toy tombola with St John Ambulance
  • Test your cycling skills on the Sutton CC Challenge – a bicyle obstacle course on the tennis courts – includes slalom, limbo bar, rumble and chicane. Free for under 18’s and bikes and helmets available – Sutton Cycling Club
  • Yoga classes for Adults, Kids and Family with Karuna Zen Yoga Ltd. Demo classes will be given throughout the fair. Please check the class schedule and register at stall www.facebook.com/karunazenyoga
