Wallington Farmers’ Market is always held from 9am to 1pm on the second Saturday of each month, at the Old Town Hall and Library Gardens in Woodcote Road, Wallington – see map here
Join us this Saturday 12th July from 9am to 1pm for a relaxed summer morning at the Wallington Farmers’ Market. Take a stroll through the stalls around the Old Town Hall and Library Gardens, enjoy live music from the bandstand, and discover some of the finest seasonal produce the UK has to offer.
Pick up strawberries, cherries, plums, tomatoes, aubergines or peppers, from fruit grown closer to home. Our growers offer delicious, high-quality alternatives to imported produce—and your support helps them thrive. You’ll also find fresh organic bread, free-range eggs, high-welfare poultry and meats, refreshing drinks, English-grown nuts, small-batch Sussex spirits and much more at the market. Whether you’re shopping for the week or simply enjoying the atmosphere, it’s a great way to support sustainable choices—without compromising on taste or quality. And the market offers a great community atmosphere where you can meet friends and chat.
We like to have live music at the market – if you are interested in volunteering to perform or sing at future markets, please contact info@ecolocal.org.uk to express your interest.
Stock up on fresh tomatoes, aubergines, strawberries, free-range eggs and meat, speciality cheeses, organic bread, artisan chocolates, and affordable veg—there’s something for every taste and budget. Check out natural skincare products with locally grown low waste ingredients. Explore handmade treasures in the craft tent, including mosaic, jewellery, and photography.
Don’t miss the plant stall, where you can snap up tomato and pepper plants, summer bedding, herbs, fruit shrubs and more – every penny goes to support the Carshalton Community Allotment food growing project.
Market dates in 2025: 11th January, 8th February, 8th March, 12th April, 10th May, 14th June, 12th July, 9th August, 13th September, 11th October, 8th November, 13th December
Now more than ever our local British farmers need your support. The farmers you’ll meet at Wallington Farmers’ Market work hard to deliver high quality, tasty food to world-leading standards. But they are facing real challenges; from spiraling costs to stiff competition from producers abroad. The UK food and farming industry makes a fundamental contribution to our economy, providing millions of jobs and supporting rural and urban communities up and down the country.

Stall pitches are in high demand so we will not be able to meet all requests for stall pitches and we need to ensure a diversity of stall types appropriate to our events/market.
