Carshalton Community Allotment

In light of the government advice we regret that we have had to take the decision to cancel the normal Monday and Friday drop in sessions at the Carshalton community allotment until further notice.

We hope that sessions will be able to restart soon. We will be in touch.

In the meantime it is still important to get outdoors and take exercise. We hope that you will have the opportunity to go for a walk in your local park and enjoy the Spring weather.

If you have any questions, comments or ideas please get in contact: food@ecolocal.org.uk or call 020 8404 1522.

We offer free, drop-in sessions twice a week at the Carshalton Community Allotment. All ages and levels of experience are welcome. Gardening can be a wonderfully satisfying activity for anyone, regardless of age and ability. Enjoy the outdoors, meet other people, learn new skills, get a bit of exercise and take a share of the harvest home to eat!

We are open in rain and sun:

Mondays 1.00pm – 3.00pm
Fridays 10.30am – 12.30pm

We only close on Bank Holiday Mondays, a break over Christmas and when snow settles on the ground. There’s no need to book.

You can download a map and just turn up, or phone 020 8404 1522 if you want more information.

Just bring wellies or other shoes you don’t mind getting muddy and warm clothes if it’s cold! We also have a hut, toilet, benches and tea making facilities.

We are always looking for volunteers to help on the allotment, either as gardeners of any ability or those who can support other participants. Please click here for details.

If you have any questions, comments or ideas please get in contact: food@ecolocal.org.uk or call 020 8404 1522.
