Join us to help renovated the Victorian walled garden in our grounds of The Lodge.
The Lodge walled garden has been in cultivation since the 18th Century, but has been somewhat neglected in recent years.
We aim to bring the garden back into productive use and create a beautiful space for the community to enjoy.
So why not join our team of enthusiastic volunteers? There are a range of tasks from light weeding to serious digging. We are also working on designs for the garden and will need to renovate the garden walls.
If you want to attend our sessions, we recommend you wear sturdy footwear, layers and long sleeves. Refreshments will be provided. If you have any enquiries about anything not covered here, then please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call 020 8404 1524.
We would also welcome groups who want to help as part of ‘corporate days’ in their workplace, please enquire on the email and number above.
Our address is Honeywood Walk, Carshalton, SM5 3NX and a map to our garden can be found here.
Our sessions run between 10am –2pm so do drop in
We’d like to say thank you to the Wandle Valley Forum for supporting the walled garden during Wandle Fortnight. You can find out more about them here.
