The Lodge Walled Garden

Now that the government have issued stay at home advice, we do not feel it would be appropriate to run our walled garden sessions at the moment.  The advice for going out to take exercise is for it to be only with members of your own household.

We will update this page and you can sign up here to receive updates on the walled garden – make sure you tick the ‘Victorian Walled Garden’ box

The Lodge walled garden has been in cultivation since the 18th Century, but has been somewhat neglected in recent years.

We aim to bring the garden back into productive use and create a beautiful space for the community to enjoy.

So why not join our team of enthusiastic volunteers? There are a range of tasks from light weeding to serious digging. We are also working on designs for the garden and will need to renovate the garden walls.

If you want to attend our sessions, we recommend you wear sturdy footwear, layers and long sleeves. Refreshments will be provided. If you have any enquiries about anything not covered here, then please e-mail info@ecolocal.org.uk or call 020 8404 1524.

We would also welcome groups who want to help as part of 'corporate days' in their workplace, please enquire on the email and number above.

Our address is Honeywood Walk, Carshalton, SM5 3NX and a map to our garden can be found here
