The next Wallington Farmers’ Market will be held Saturday 11th November, 9am-1pm – plus Carshalton Jazz club!
We’re looking forward to a bright sunny day this Saturday 11th November for the Farmers’ Market.
Firstly, we are delighted that you’ll be able to enjoy the delightful sounds of Carshalton Jazz while you browse the stalls or sip coffee in the Library Garden.
We welcome Brightleigh Farm; based in Outwood, Surrey the farm will bring a full range of beef cuts from their ‘Pasture for Life’ certified Aberdeen Angus Steer. We’ll also be joined by a new local soap producer, Sabine Della Porter, who makes her own soaps, shower gels, cleansers, shampoo and conditioners.
Of course, all our wonderful regular traders will be there from specialist cheeses, cakes, cookies, eggs, fish & seafood, veg’, game, coffee, artisan bread, chilli as well local artists and aromatherapy skin care. Plus we see the return of Forest Biltong with wild Sussex venison biltong.
Shoppers will be invited to participate in a 2 minute silence of remembrance at 11am.
We are looking for a wine / craft beer producer and a hand made soap producer to join the market.
You can chat to the farmers and producers about their products as well as meet up with friends! Sometimes we have live music at the market – if you are interested in volunteering to perform or sing at future markets, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to express your interest.
Now more than ever our local British farmers’ need your support. The farmers’ you’ll meet at Wallington Farmers’ Market work hard to deliver high quality, tasty food to world-leading standards. But they are facing real challenges; from spiraling costs to stiff competition from producers abroad. The UK food and farming industry makes a fundamental contribution to our economy, providing millions of jobs and supporting rural and urban communities up and down the country.
We expect Wallington Farmers’ Market to be open for all 2023 dates second Saturday of the month.
