Would you like to help in 2009?

Over 50 volunteers helped run the fair in 2008. If you would like to give a hand we'd be delighted to hear from you on the above contacts!

Music

We have three stages with a range of music from local rock bands to acoustic folk music. Download the 2008 line up for all three stages. If you wish to apply to play on the main stage, please e-mail or post your demo tape or files and a biography to the contacts at the top of the page.

The music cafe is run by Sutton Acoustic Music Club www.sutton-acoustic.co.uk

Stalls

Application forms for 2009 were sent out in March 2009. In 2008, we had more stalls apply that we can fit in. If you are an environmental organisation looking to have a stall or run an activity please contact us at the earliest opportunity by requesting an application form here. The Fair also accepts a number or craft and charity stalls as well as commercial stalls that fit within the ethos of the event.

Food

The fair offers lots of tasty food from Thai noodles to Indian bhajis, Greek Salad, Jacket potatoes, pancakes, veggie burgers, and of course - ice cream. We have two new exciting caterers this year offering curry and creole food. There is a café and a bar.

Children's Area

We have plenty of children's activities planned, from craft activities to story telling, facepainting, games and fun.

Sponsorship

We have a range of sponsorship opportunities available, please contact us if you would like to sponsor the Fair this year.

How To Get There

By Bus: We usually provide a FREE bus service to the fair running three routes throughout the borough and a timetable will be available at the gates on the day.

By Train: The nearest railway station is Carshalton Beeches. Wallington and Carshalton Stations are further away but within 10 to 20 minutes walk. The 157, 154, 127, 407, X26 buses all stop nearby.

By Bicycle: Dr. Bike attends the event & will provide free cycle parking by the Ruskin Road main entrance. Please bring a bike lock.

There is no parking on site for fair visitors - other than limited spaces for disabled parking. The surrounding roads will have parking restrictions in place. We suggest you leave the car at home and take the free bus, enjoy a walk or cycle trip.
